Tackling health inequalities

HealthWhole Community Interest Company (CIC) exists to tackle health inequalities across Kent and Medway. It raises money to help reduce health inequalities in the area. It does this by running a society lottery and working collaboratively with independent charity, People's Health Trust to develop local interventions.

We donate the good causes funds we raise to People's Health Trust, who invests these in communities wishing to make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

This grant making trust funds local people who have great ideas about how they can make their neighbourhoods even better places to grow, live, work and age.

Funding raised so far by HealthWhole CIC

Working with HealthWhole, People's Health Trust has made grants to local groups totalling £1,306,778.

Kent Friendz

Kent Friendz were awarded £48,798 to provide activities for specialist children based in Tonbridge and Malling who can display challenging behaviour and are often forgotten because they need specialist two-to-one care tailored to their specific needs. There will be discussions with parents and children to determine their needs and interests and the project will be driven by them.
